winelab.Africa is an Approved Programme Provider (APP) facilitating Wine & Spirits Education Trust (WSET) courses and examinations across all African markets.
WSET is the world’s leading provider of drinks qualifications. The courses are designed to inspire and empower anyone looking to develop their drinks knowledge, from beginners to experts, and from enthusiasts to professionals.
We offer Level 1,2 and 3 Award in Wines courses as well as Level 1 and 2 Award in Spirits courses.

winelab.Africa is one of the three educational institutions in South Africa approved a by the South African Sommeliers Association (SASA) as a training service provider.
We offer our WLA101 Wine + Beverage Service and WLA201 Wine + Beverage Service course. The courses cover the frameworks required for candidates to pass the SASA Foundational Certificate and Junior Sommelier exams.

WSET Level 1 Award in Wines

This course is an ideal starting point for candidates who wants to embark on a career in wine or hospitality as well as wine enthusiasts who wants to get to grips with the basics.
